Wirtshaus ANDERS in Boppard

In the summer I went the via ferrata with my daughter. Before that we were at Anders essen. Although we hadn't made a reservation, we got two seats after a bit of waiting due to the coronavirus. Food, drinks & service were ok. To the negative reviews regarding unfriendliness: I noticed how indignant other people were because of the waiting at the entrance and then moved on grumbling. Folks, take some time and be friendly, then everything will be fine.

DIFFERENT, yes, but not in a positive sense. Unbelievable what we have experienced here, especially how we were treated. the food ordered was not prepared properly (raw). after bringing this to our attention, we were kicked out in a very rude way. So folks! THAT'S HOW YOU DON'T DEAL WITH GUESTS! if you can't cook, and you also can't be customer-oriented and friendly, you should think about whether this job is the right one. and BY the way ... only a few ingredients actually organically grown. the MEAT is not organic, from the WHOLESALE MARKET (statement by the owner on request) whoever expects an "organic restaurant" will be disappointed. vegan and vegetarian are not the same as "organic". ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

If you want to be yelled at you are in the right place! Then please provide your Corona Info so that you can definitely see it. Even in spite of fogged glasses! I have never experienced such rudeness before. Then everything doesn't seem so wild when you can deal with guests like that. And if you look at the reviews further, we were probably not an isolated case.

Here you can tell that the owner and his wife are specialists. The food is made from regional and organic products, but the prices are very cheap. We were there twice and we enjoyed it both times. The icing on the cake was the chocolate cake dessert with a liquid core, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The chocolate cake cooked to the point, high-quality ice cream (in which you can discover the black dots of real vanilla) and whipped cream (of course not from the spray can). I could sing the same praise for all the dishes we ate. There is also a selection for vegetarians and vegans.

Very friendly hosts have delicious and plentiful dishes for meat eaters as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes. There is Fritz Kola, beer from a small brewery in the Allgäu and homemade lemonades. Pleasant ambience. Exemplary hygiene concept for the purpose of Corona. Telephone reservation worked out perfectly. Recommendable!

When we are in Boppard, the Anders inn is a MUST for us. Super delicious food, great wine and a pleasant beer exception to the otherwise Bitburger ravaged gastronomy. Plus great service, we're looking forward to the next time. LG from Bochum

You stand 5 minutes at the entrance waiting for admission and when you ring the doorbell you have to listen to a cheeky answer from inside the bar. Not possible. Who treated guests like this should not be surprised that nobody comes anymore.

The menu is manageable but what is offered is very good. Good quality and extremely tasty. Service has been good too. Can just be recommended. In the end you have to have the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.

Wirtshaus Different, because different is different ... My son had to go to the bathroom very urgently ... The lady in the service told him not to because we weren't guests. I also wanted to pay something. She still didn't let him. Too bad that has nothing to do with hospitality ...

Simply different, this beautiful restaurant is a bit off the Rhine. Small menu with good products, fresh and well prepared. The food was convincing in terms of taste and appearance. The restaurant in the old walls exudes a cozy atmosphere even without decoration (had to give way to Corona). Staff is friendly and knows how gastonomy works. Gladly again.

Good food with organic ingredients You get delicious food and a varied menu. The homemade drinks taste very good. The prices are based on the quality of the products in order. Very nice service and also the cook shows humor. In the surrounding area, the food can be combined with a trip to the Vierseenblick with or without a cable car.

We were a group of Americans from California and Kansas City. Anders is not like anything you will find in the USA. The atmosphere is unique. The kitchen is TLC (tender loving care). The service delightful. Yet - the best comes last - those hamburgers are THE best in the world.

Really nice food, we had the burger and the schnitzel, beer very good. The place is very old but has been renovated so well, modern but retaining and enhancing the old features. We'll be back.

Nice spot so sit and enjoy a beer, kola, or a surprisingly tasty burger in the sunshine. Staff were really friendly also.
